This is the second day in a row that Zackary did not take a nap. Yesterday we assumed it was because he slept until 8 o'clock (which rarely happens). As a result he went to bed early last night and got up early, so of course we assumed a nap would happen today . . . it didn't! We're all praying he isn't getting close to giving up naps . . . he needs them and so do we!
Zackary received a Valentine's Day card with an Arch card for McDonald's. He was all smiles when he saw the picture of the fries!

Oh, I've been there. Jack did that for about a week and we never figured out why. I thought it was going to be that way forever. I think it has a lot to do with the cold weather and not being outdoors as much. I always, always, always insisted on "rest time" for an hour though. He had to stay in his bed, but was allowed to have books and a few small toys.
Fortunately, he's napping again!
Jack and Ben got lots of McDonalds gift cards for Valentine's Day from grandparents, aunts and uncles . . . did they have some sort of V-Day ad campaign that I didn't know about?
