Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter weekend.  We started off Friday by going to a Marshmallow Drop.  Of course this was one of my brilliant ideas that now I can say we've done and probably won't do again!  It was as organized as it can be when there are approximately 10,000 people involved and I'm not kidding.  I just searched for a newspaper article about the event and  this is the amount of people that they belive were there, it was crazy.  Once you got a marshmallow, you turned it in for a prize which consisted of a couple pieces of candy, a mini camera and a little ball.  It was a beautiful day and we got exercise walking to and from our car!
In the afternoon, we dyed eggs.

Then on Saturday we went to two birthday parties.  One for our friend Brady who turned 3 and one for Paul's grandma who turned 88!

Sunday morning Zackary woke up to his Easter basket and then we went to church.  After Zackary had a much needed afternoon nap, we had an Easter egg hunt and dinner at the Crosby's.

Build-A-Bear

Since he was born, I've been waiting for the perfect time to take Zackary to Build-A-Bear.  I've been there a couple of times before with some of my little friends and I had as much fun as they did.  If you aren't familiar, it is a store in one of our malls that is designed for picking, stuffing, fluffing and dressing a stuffed animal (not just bears).  So one weekend in March (I know I'm behind on blogging AGAIN), Zackary, Inny, Pop-Pop and I went and we had so much fun.  He picked a Tiger and a Chick (compliments of the grandparents).  We picked a "roar" sound for the Tiger, he put little hearts inside each one, helped step on the pedal for the stuffing to fill the animals and then we moved on the the station where he got to pretend to wash, dry and brush his new friends. Then we picked clothes, got on the computer to give them each a name, received a birth certificate and a box to carry them home in!  Zackary had SO much fun!

Conversation

I talked to Zackary on the phone this morning and the conversation went something like this.

Zackary:  Hello mama, I miss you but I'm having a really good day at Inny & Pop-Pop's.

Me:  I miss you too but I'm glad you're having a good day.

Zackary:  Bye Bye mama.

Me:  Bye Bye Zackary.

I love our little conversations.

P.S.  For those of you waiting on new pictures, I hope to post them this weekend!!
