Corn on the cob

I made corn on the cob for dinner this week. Zackary was watching Paul with great interest while he was eating. Paul suggested I give him some (I really didn't think he'd know what to do) but of course he did!! He ate about half of the cob. He didn't want to touch it for some reason, so I helped him out. He's really growing up!!

Independence

These were taken during the beginning of July when we were camping at SBC. The Tomlin family gave this to Zackary and he loves to walk behind it. He did great on the uneven dirt road and even in the grass.

We're Home

Everything went great today, thanks for the prayers & words of encouragement. Our day started early, but we were home by just after 9 a.m.. Zackary did great and his tear duct is open. We need to put drops in 4 times a days & massage the area 4 times a day for a week, but hopefully that will be the end. I took him into the Operating Room and they put the mask over his face and he was asleep within seconds. Fifteen minutes later the doctor came out to tell us everything went well and not long after that, a nurse brought Zackary to us. He was awake and a little sleepy but he was glad to get a drink of water. They placed a purple X over his left eye to make sure they operated on the correct one. Here is a pictures from a little while ago. We're also to keep him from rubbing his eye, so far it hasn't been too much of a problem.

Tear Duct

Tomorrow morning at 5:45A we'll be at Children's Hospital in Detroit for Zackary to have a procedure to open his tear duct. Please keep Zackary (and his parents) in your prayers. His tear duct has been closed since birth and hasn't opened (unfortunately).

We had a great time at Somerset Beach Campground last week. Zackary experienced his first time in the sailboat and he seemed to like it. He wasn't sure about how restricted he was in his life jacket but he handled the whole thing pretty well.

I'll post pictures soon!!
