Here he comes . . .

Zackary is definately on the move now. He likes to try & pull himself up on the gate, so I was trying to capture a few pictures. As soon as I took the first one, he turned and started crawling toward me with the sweetest little smile. The weather was beautiful over the weekend, so we were able to go for a couple walks and we took him to the park. We put him in the swing and once he warmed up to the idea, he smiled and laughed. He doesn't cry he just gets this look on his face like "what are we doing now"!!! I didn't have my camera, so I'll take pictures next time.

Cruising in Style

Pop-Pop takes Zackary for a walk whenever the weather cooperates. So far he has left his sunglasses on when he is outside!

Carnival Cuts

Last weekend we took Zackary for his second haircut. Since our usual hair stylist is off work due to an injury, we decided to try Carnival Cuts at the mall. I explained that I wanted his bangs trimmed, cut around his ears and some taken off the top . . .
and this is what we got!!! It was a good haircut for a toddler, not my baby!! Oh well, luckily it is hair and it will grow back. Zackary did great and got to sit in a car for his haircut.

Zackary loves it when the door is open and he can look outside.

Zackary is crawling now . . . just when we thought he never would! It was so cute tonight when he crawled from the living room to the bathroom . . . to find Mommy!!

New Discoveries

Zackary explored a new area of the living room. Anyone that has ever been to our house knows that space is limited. In the past he has stayed in the center of the living room floor and when he moved, it was toward the dining room. Over the past week he explored the hardwood floor, front door and of course the pretty little girls in the end table! Luckily he hasn't figured out that the door to the end table opens, but I'm sure it won't be long.

Last week Zackary had a virus (and is still getting over it), so Grammy & Pop-Pop came to our house to take care of him. One of his favorite things to play with is water bottles, he has several at their house to play with. He LOVES them, so they brought him a couple. He was so excited and has continued to entertain himself with them. You can imagine the challenge it is to actually try to drink a bottle of water with him around!
