Happy Halloween

Zackary was an adorable little pumpkin. Daddy carved the pumpkin and did an awesome job. Mommy didn't know he was so talented!!

Countdown to Christmas

I realize that it isn't even Halloween yet but I received Zackary's Christmas stocking in the mail this week, so of course he had to try it on! Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures this week, so I decided to post one of my favorites that I never posted before. It sits on my desk everyday with my two favorite boys!! Zackary is growing in many different ways. I noticed today that he used both hands to hold his keys, so he is moving toward passing his toys from one hand to another. Tummy time continues to be one of of his least favorite things to do, but he is doing well at it. The funniest thing he has started doing is grunting. He did it first for Grammy this week. When he did it for me, I just started laughing. He seems to do it when he is mad and apparently he just discovered that he could make this noise.

Zackary was a month old

New Experience

We had another busy week. Grandma Joyce was with us at the beginning of the week and babysat a couple days. On Wednesday morning Zackary had another new experience, a car accident! Luckily it was three blocks from home and involved very low speeds, so he didn't even realize what happened. He just continued playing with his toys and was probably wondering why the car stopped. And in case you are wondering, it wasn't mommy's fault, a high school student misjudged her turn and hit the driver door. We had quiet weekend at home, which was nice. We hope you enjoy the recent pictures. He is getting to be such a big boy!!

Friends

Mommy converted Zackary's floor gym to the "tummy time" option this week and he seems to like it. We'll try anything to encourage tummy time.

Summer in October

It feels like summer again, so we went to the Lake Erie Metro Park yesterday to enjoy the nice weather. Zackary fell asleep and Grandma Joyce put his hat over his face to keep the light away. He slept for his usual 40-45 minutes like this. He likes to hold on to things these days and drools all the time. He also chews on his bib, so it get soggy very quickly.

Our Weekend

We went to Somerset Beach Campground and spent the weekend for the first time with Zackary who is now 14 weeks old. He did great and we had a fun weekend.
