May -
- Zackary celebrated his summer birthday before preschool ended.
- Received a certificate for successful completion.
June -
- He was in a gymnastics class from January until June . . . this was the Exhibition that he participated in.
- He caught his first fish . . . was very disappointed that we released it and didn't cook it for dinner!
- He went to his first movie "Cars 2" which opened the day after his birthday!
- He asked for a "honey cake" for his birthday, after much discussion and questions, I determined he wanted a cake that looked like a bee . . . he was very pleased!
July -
- We spent the first week and half of July at our trailer at Somerset Beach Campground. Zackary and I attended Bible School each morning and had a great time. One afternoon he rode Misty in the arena.
- He attended his first Detroit Tiger's baseball game with Pop-Pop, Uncle Brian and Mama. It was 95 degrees that day . . . but we had fun!
August -
- He got funny glasses at Cody's birthday party!
- We spent four days in Mackinaw City with the Tomlin family. This was taken on the boat ride to the Island where we spent the day and had a lot of fun,
- We visited the Butterfly house.
- We went on a carriage ride and we ended our day at Fort Mackinac.
- Enjoying the sunset at the bridge . . . and throwing rocks in the lake!
- Playing Mario on the Nintendo DS . . . he went for a period of time he was obsessed with it (so it became restricted) but now he only plays occasionally!
We had a great summer!!
